| Name Enju First Appearance episode 92 - Bukkatsushita Monotachi no Yabou Background Enju is a dead ningen who was brought back to life with her her bones and burial soil by Urasue, just like Kikyou. Urasue brought back Enju because, while she was alive, she was a potter. Urasue was using her to create clay soldiers which come to life with the souls of the dead. After Urasue's death, Enju's 'brother' Kawaramaru insists that Enju continue making those soldiers for him. Eventually Enju decides she doesn't want to make them anymore, she just wants to go back to being dead. When Enju meets Kagome, Kagome makes Enju promise that she will at least try to live when they defeat Kawaramaru. She promises, and with the help of Kikyou, whose shinidama-chuu bring her the souls she needs to survive, she tries out living. |
